Graduation Joy! ✨

We are so grateful for the contributions that allow us to be integrally involved in the lives of our program members. Our Education and Hope community is the extended family we all need to not feel alone in the world. We are honored to play a supporting role in the growth and evolution of so many!

Below is our end-of-year email, which features the stories of Alvin and Jessica, highlighting the impact your gifts are making.

Dear friends,

As 2024 winds down, I wanted to share this image with you. For me, it’s a reminder of what it means to invest in hope.

 

Alvin and Jessica hadn’t yet learned to walk when they joined our brand-new daycare program. We began the daycare to support working mothers with very young children. We wanted to offer a safe place for the toddlers to play and grow while their mothers provided for their families.

 

These two cousins have grown up in the midst of our community, and their mothers have always been deeply grateful to have our village to rely on for support. Jessica and Alvin turned 18 this year, and each of them has told me that they cannot imagine their lives without Education and Hope.

After carrying them as newborns and watching them take their first steps, witnessing them receive diplomas this year was an experience that will stay with me always. Alvin studied construction design in high school and now aspires to study architecture. Jessica studied accounting in high school, graduated at the very top of her class, and plans to pursue a degree in business.

 

Your gifts enable Education and Hope to provide safety and stability, nourishment and guidance to hundreds of children like Alvin and Jessica. Every single family has a story to tell about how their lives were forever changed once they became part of our community. Thank you for being the spark behind so much transformation.

There are many worthy organizations vying for your attention, and we are deeply grateful for all that you generously share to sustain our efforts. We couldn’t do this work without you!

No matter how daunting the challenges we face might seem at times, I am endlessly grateful to this community for reminding me how powerful we are when we work together.
