IN-KIND DONATIONS
In light of the prohibitive cost of shipping, and the corruption we have encountered in the customs agency, in-kind donations are usually carried to Guatemala with staff luggage. Recent restrictions on luggage weight by the airlines has caused us to limit our general wish list to reading books in Spanish (all ages) and sturdy, new back packs (small to medium size). However, we are thrilled when visitors offer to carry other collected items with them when they come to see us. Please find a more complete list below and don’t hesitate to contact us if you’d like to collect items for our program!
